The exhibition Only Words will be on until 20th November at the New Brewery Arts, Cirencester. This is a taster of some of the exhibits, but there is so much more to see.
We went to see this exhibition today, its full of lovely thought provoking things and we were so tempted to spend, spend, spend! Sue - your spoons look fabulous, there should be more of them - we noticed you have almost sold out. Other visitors will have to be quick to get one! Congratulations on being part of such a good show.
Sue studied etching to degree level in the late 70s at Bristol. In 1996 she added collagraphs to her portfolio of work after discovering this printmaking technique being taught at the Steiner School in Gloucester.
Sue extended her practice further in 2000 by working with ‘non toxic’ etching developed by Keith Howard and Friedhard Kiekeban.
Sue is currently in the middle of studying for an MA in Multi Disciplinery Printmaking at the University of the West of England where she is completely absorbed by enameling.
