How are my fellow British bloggers coping with this chilly weather?
I have to say it is making everything look picturesque, but it is very slippery under foot.
I have spent 3 days in my shed, unable to get out and about, but have got loads done, starting 2 collagraph plates and etching some copper to enamel later in the month.
I cleared the snow off my car this morning and miracles it started third time, not that I intend to go anywhere, I have far too much to do now I don't feel so trapped. I have put this picture in for all those who know me and my 2CV...I might use this image for next years Christmas card?

There are some benefits to be snowed in!
I am looking forward to seeing what you have been working on.
Sue,
How come I was trapped for days too but did nothing? Why can't some of your industrious nature rub off on me? After all, you're already talking about next year's Christmas card!! Perhaps I'll make a start now - might just finish in time..... Keep safe in the white stuff. love Lesley x
I was so surprised when I saw your car ! (I'm French)
This image is beautifull, definitely a nice christmas card with this white an red pattern. You can think the inside is loaded with gifts...
What a great shot for a Christmas card! Dying for a decent striding out walk after only being able to go short distances on the ice, but like you, I've done lots of work and have heard some great radio shows that I otherwise would never have found!
Hi Sue,
Beautiful images...love Red & White!
We are melting here in Melbourne. Temps were 30C+ all through the night last night.
I needed a wet towel as a sheet!!! Looking at your snow is such a welcome sight, believe me :)
sue--just found your blog and am thoroughly enjoying your work and process. we're in a similar deep freeze, but we expect it (and welcome!) in the north country.
your moth imagery is evocative for me.
