After days of this being the case, I have finally produced work I am pleased with. These three prints are examples of viscosity inked collagraph plates.

Oh yes, that is SO true... some of my best work has been with recalcitrant plates that have nearly made me tear my hair out! You struggle and struggle with them, sometimes have to put them away for a while out of sheer frustration, and then occasionally it comes together in the end. Which is all part of the magic and secret of making art for me really: whatever people say about "... oh I could do that!", I don't think there's much realisation of the struggle that is sometimes involved. Anyway, I love the colour on your plates! I do find viscosity printing very satisfying.
