STILL EXPERIMENTING

I am still playing with the enamel, still treating the making of these pieces like sketch book pages.
Layers of ivory coloured enamel over sgraffito through grey grip coat.
Stoning back through the layers to reveal the drawing.
Then adding the Victorian transfers and screen printed detail.
Thanks to my friend Brian who let me have these unnamed relatives and the post card messages.
 
I have now used up my Victorian photos, so perhaps my work will move in a different direction?

These are just beautiful. I desperately want to see the real thing, I can't get my head around the fact that they are enamel.

Yes, these old eyes can see it all much better now and appreciate all the details. Love the chandeliers and the architectural images. They all work so well but I sense you are saying there will be no more. Shame, but I suspect you will have something else up your sleeve L xx PS I really did think Mr Punch's outfit would be up your street (maybe not with the hat!)
