A DAY OF PLAY

I have spent a splendid day with my daughter (celebrating her 21st) on an enameling workshop held at New Brewery Arts, Cirencester. The workshop was facilitated by Carol Griffin.
We used thin copper sheets and experimented with shaped paper punches,

paper crimpers,

an old sewing machine,

red, black and clear enamels,

and in some instances, just heat.

I really enjoyed working in a completely different way and exploring some new techniques. I also had a lovely time with my daughter.

Yes, it looks as if you had a ball! How lovely to do that with your daughter.

Holly is 21! Where has the time gone.... disappearing before my very eyes. Hope she had a fab birthday spending the day with you. More techniques to add to your repertoire with the enamelling? Look forward to seeing if they figure in your future experiments.

Hello Sue
So - a gratuitous cat photo made you comment at mine. And then brought me over here to yours. What a treat. Love this metal work. And the rest.
Cheers
